Lead emergency response procedures and support operational teams during incidents.
Oversee departmental budgets, purchasing and stock control.
Manage maintenance requests through the hotel's maintenance management systems and ensure service level agreements are consistently achieved.
Conduct regular property inspections, identifying opportunities to improve both the guest experience and operational efficiency.
Support capital expenditure projects, refurbishment works and hotel improvement initiatives.
Coach, develop and motivate the engineering team whilst fostering a positive, safety-first culture.
Work closely with all operational departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Be part of the Duty Management rota as required.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

A recognised engineering qualification (electrical, mechanical or building services preferred).
Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, Fire Life Safety and statutory compliance.
Experience managing contractors and planned maintenance programmes.
